Bring cabin colour to winter evenings with a red, black and cream corner-to-corner plaid, fine gold surface lines and a black edging. Four adult sizes (Throw, Twin, Queen, King) include complete diagonal instructions and tiled charts. The picture is an illustration: a close view of one corner of the Throw size. Band positions, gold line spacing and fringe length are approximate. Other sizes repeat the same 24-tile plaid with more repeats. Colours are approximate.

Materials:

  • Category 4 worsted smooth washable wool in A Red, B Black, C Cream and D Gold (surface slip stitch only); per-colour estimated quantities are in each size.
  • 5.5 mm hook to start, or size to match washed tile gauge.
  • Yarn needle, scissors, removable markers, measuring tape and bobbins.
  • Adult fringe option: 6 in strands in A, B and C.
