Family Stocking Set
Crochet a family of four Christmas stockings, each with a picture on the front (a tree, a mitten, a star and a bell) and a name cuff where you type a name of up to seven letters (fewer if the name has wide letters such as M, N or W) in the app before you print. Two sizes: 16 in and 20 in tall. Each stocking is a charted front, a plain back and a cuff, joined with single crochet. The finished-item picture is an illustration; colours are approximate. Charted motifs are built from whole stitches, so a made piece looks blockier and simpler than the picture. The picture shows the 16 in size.
Materials: DK weight cotton (category 3) in A Cream, B Red, C Green, D Gold and E Navy; 3.5 mm hook or size to match gauge; yarn needle; scissors; stitch markers. Yarn amounts are estimates: weigh your swatch.
