Midnight Confetti Throw

Midnight Confetti Throw finished item, front view; source picture, illustration.
Front · Digital preview

Crochet a midnight-navy corner-to-corner (C2C) throw scattered with gold, silver, cream and rose confetti dots and stars that thin out toward the top, like the last seconds before midnight. Three sizes: Lap 36 x 48 in, Throw 50 x 60 in and Twin 60 x 80 in, each with complete diagonal instructions and tiled charts. The finished-item picture is an illustration; colours are approximate. Charted motifs are built from whole stitches, so a made piece looks blockier and simpler than the picture. The picture shows the Throw size (50 x 60 in); the confetti placement differs for every size.

Materials: category 4 worsted smooth washable yarn in A Navy, B Gold, C Silver, D Cream and E Rose; 5.5 mm hook to start, or size to match your washed tile gauge; yarn needle; scissors; bobbins; measuring tape. Yarn amounts are estimates: weigh your swatch.
