Baby Essentials: Feeding & Care

Four feeding and care patterns for a new baby: Baby Bibs, Burp Cloths, the Pacifier Clip Strap and the Bottle Cozy. Crochet a snap-closing bib you can chart your own design on, a long and a contoured burp cloth, a short strap for a pacifier, and a snug sleeve for a baby bottle.
Every pattern comes with its own editable StitchWing chart file and a printable PDF with a written row for every row, worked in single crochet, with its own gauge, materials list and safety notes. Sizes: bibs in Newborn, Baby and Toddler; burp cloths in Long and Contoured; pacifier strap in Close, Standard and Long; bottle cozy in Small, Medium and Large.
Buying the bundle costs less than buying the four separately. If you already own some of them, you pay only for the rest, and you are never charged twice for a pattern you own. Later sizes and corrections are included.
Important Safety Notes
Each pattern has its own Important Safety Notes in its own listing and in its pattern. Read each one before you start. The main points:
Bibs: Use at meals with an adult present, and take the bib off when the meal is done. Never leave a bib on a baby for sleep or unattended play. Close it with pressed baby snaps, never buttons, and add no cords or ties.
Burp cloths: Use over your shoulder or on your lap while you feed and burp, and never leave one over a baby's face or head. Keep it out of the crib, bassinet and play yard with a baby under 12 months.
Pacifier clip strap: The finished strap, with its clip and ring, must measure 7 inches (17.8 cm) or less from end to end. Never tie, loop or hang a pacifier or this strap around a baby's neck, and take it off before any nap or night sleep.
Bottle cozy: It makes no claim to keep a bottle warm or cold and is not made for use with heat or a bottle warmer. It is for storage and is not a toy. Hold the bottle at every feed and never prop it, and take the cozy off before you wash or sterilize the bottle.
Yarn and care: Use soft, smooth, washable yarn that does not shed or fuzz, and wash a swatch first. Weave in every end and check inside the finished item for loose strands, which can wrap around a baby's fingers or toes. Wash inside out.
If you sell what you make: Children's products sold in the US must meet CPSC rules, including testing, a Children's Product Certificate and a tracking label. Start at cpsc.gov.
