Can't install on Windows?
Finish the download, get past a new-app warning, and open the right installer.
1. Let the download finish
The Windows installer is about 320 MB, so it may take a few minutes. Wait until your browser says the download is finished. The filename looks like StitchWing_…_x64-setup.exe; the dots stand for the version number.
Use the download link from stitchwing.com or your StitchWing email.
2. If your browser warns you
If your browser says the download isn't commonly downloaded or may not be safe, check that you used the link from stitchwing.com or your StitchWing email, then follow these steps:
- Edge: beside the download, choose … › Keep › Show more › Keep anyway.
- Chrome: choose Keep if it asks whether to keep the download.
Let the download finish after choosing Keep.
3. Open the installer
Open your Downloads folder and double-click StitchWing_…_x64-setup.exe.
If Windows shows Windows protected your PC, choose More info, check the verified publisher shown there, then choose Run anyway. If it says Unknown publisher, stop and contact us. Follow the installer steps in Download and install on Windows. You don’t need to turn off Windows Security. If Smart App Control blocks the app, contact us with the exact message.
If it opens in a PDF viewer or has a different name
Delete that file and download again using the same StitchWing link. Wait for the complete .exe file before opening it. Don't rename a partial download or try to open it as a PDF.
