Paste a picture into a chart
Turn a copied picture into stitches on its own layer, start a new chart, or use it as a tracing photo.
Paste your picture
Copy a picture, then choose Edit › Paste picture in an open chart. Choose stitches on their own layer, a new chart, or a tracing photo; a tracing photo never prints. For stitches, choose the width and number of colors, then press Paste.
In Paste picture, use Brightness and Contrast (−100 to 100, starting at 0) before choosing colors to help a dark or washed-out picture make cleaner stitches; Reset puts both back to 0, and the settings stay with your chart.
