Save a time-lapse video

Preview your recorded chart changes and save a short video.

Preview and save

Open File › Time-lapse video…. Choose shape, length, speed and look, then play the preview. Choose Save video… and a folder. Preview plays on every plan; saving needs a paid plan.

Keep the Digital preview label when showing it as a finished piece: the video is drawn from your chart, not filmed stitching.

If a video cannot be made

Add color if the chart is empty. Check whether recording is on; it records changes from that point onward. If saving fails, try another folder. If StitchWing says the video maker is unavailable on this computer, report that message to Support.
